The shell is an orchestrator like any other (possible) orchestrator; it does not have any "special" links to the core. By contrast, the blackboard is part of the core to allow a manual invocation of functions via the wizard UI. It would break this layering if the blackboard were to display the variables from the shell(s). </p> Ticket
